

The polytechnic is a grant-in-aid institution affiliated to the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education. The polytechnic is managed by duly constituted Managing Council with members who are leading industrialists. There are also representatives from the State Government, DTE's Office and from the Central Government. Representative from the AICTE and expert members nominated by the state government are also members of the Managing Council.
In addition to the Managing Council, various committees have been constituted to manage the various activities of the institute. Some of these committees are :

- Thus, it is seen that this polytechnic has clearly identified structure and committees to look after the various functions of the institutions.
Staff Structure
The administration consists of the Principal, Dean (Administration), Training and Placement Officer and Controller of Examinations. There are fourteen Engineering departments with various specialization. There are three separate departments for electronic, namely with a head of the department, lecture and technical assistants. Computer application is another independent department. There is a separate department for Entrepreneurship and management Development. In addition to basic science departments of Mathematics, physics and Chemistry, there are department of English and Humanities.
